As the Tibetan New Year approaches, the festive atmosphere fills the streets of Lhasa, capital of China's Xizang. In the Barkhor Shopping Mall, butter sculptures and "Losar flowers" (dyed wheat and highland barley ears) are particularly popular. During Losar, the Tibetan New Year, people place them on the "Chemar Box," which is filled with tsampa (roasted highland barley flour) and highland barley grains, symbolizing happiness and a bountiful harvest in the coming year. #Happy Tibetan New Year of Wood Snake
